Refunds and cancellations.

Before work starts

If you cancel before any work on your book has started, your deposit is refunded in full within seven days.

Cooling-off

If you bought online, you can cancel within seven days of paying, without reason or penalty, under the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act. If you asked me to start work inside those seven days, you pay only for work already done.

After work starts

1. You pay for the stages already delivered, at their quoted price, and the rest of what you’ve paid is refunded within 14 days.
2. A stage counts as delivered when I’ve sent you its result: the edited manuscript, the cover concepts, the typeset PDF, the live listing.
3. Work in progress on a stage is charged pro rata to the work done, which I’ll show you.

If the work isn’t right

Tell me within 14 days of delivery what isn’t as described, and I’ll fix it at no cost. If I can’t, you’ll get a refund for that stage.

Monthly services

Hosting, coaching and social media management can be cancelled with one month’s notice. There is no refund for a month already started.

Printing and third-party costs

Printing, marketplace fees and ad spend paid to Meta can’t be refunded by me once spent, because they’re paid to others on your behalf.
